Scoring
Scoring
Only players or eligible substitutes that start the EPL match can score points. Points are awarded on a combination of individual and team performance, and also points awarded for goals scored and conceded vary depending upon the players position. As an example, the goalkeeper’s score is affected mainly by goals conceded whereas a striker’s score depends mainly upon goals scored.
Points are calculated as follows:

Notes:
- The Man-of-the-Match is defined as the player who scored the most XTF points in the match. If more than one player scores the same number of points, they will share the 2 points.
- The Winning Goal is the goal that gives the winning team the lead for the last time; for example, if a team won 2-1, after leading 1-0 and 2-0, the first goal would be the winning goal. If a winning goal is an own goal, the player that scores the own goal will receive -1 points.
- A Penalty Save is defined as being the goalkeeper when a penalty is missed, regardless of whether the goalkeeper actually made the save.
- A red card is defined as either a straight red or 2 yellow cards. If a player receives a yellow, then subsequently a red, they only receive the red card deduction of -5, so effectively the yellow card is rescinded.
